Name That Bible Story

A free printable worksheet that helps kids recall every Bible story — in order

What Is This Worksheet?

“Name That Bible Story” is a one-look review of the entire Bible. Every lesson in our chronological curriculum is listed in order — by its series, number, and picture — with a blank line next to each one. Kids write in the name of the story that matches each picture.

The Old Testament fills the first page and the New Testament the second, so the whole sweep of Scripture fits on a single front-and-back sheet.

Why Use It?

  • Reinforces the big picture. Children see how the individual stories they've learned connect into one continuous story that points to Jesus.
  • A simple recall check. Use it as a quick review at the start of class, a take-home activity for families, an end-of-year assessment, or an end-of-ministry "capstone" review.
  • Works for any pace. Hand out the whole sheet at once, or give each child their own copy that they fill in the blanks each week as you cover each story.
  • The pictures do the prompting. Each lesson's icon is a memory cue, so even pre-readers can play along by talking through the stories.

How to Use It

  • Print the student version — one per child — and have them fill in the story names from memory.
  • Keep the teacher version next to you as an answer key while you grade or review together.
  • Try Hard Mode for older kids — it also leaves the series names blank for them to fill in.

Here's what it looks like when it is printed:
