Ministry Settings is where you configure your organization's name, contact info, services, and third-party connections. Think of it as the control panel for your Teach Us the Bible account.
Update your ministry's name, contact email, and website. Your organization name appears on your team's dashboard and in the parent portal — parents see "Join [Church Name] on Teach Us the Bible" when they register.
Each lesson in the curriculum includes a built-in memory verse that rotates every four lessons. If your ministry is using a different verse — for example, one tied to a sermon series or a passage you're working through as a team — you can enter it here and it will override the curriculum's default verse on every lesson page.
Leave this blank to use the curriculum default, which changes automatically with each new lesson cycle.
If your ministry runs more than one service — for example, a 9am and 11am service — you can set them up here. Each service gets its own name and its own lesson schedule. Teachers can be assigned to a default service so they see the right schedule when they log in.
The "Alternate lessons with another service?" setting is used when you want two services to trade off lessons each week, so every child hears every lesson regardless of which service they attend. See the Lesson Schedule article for a full walkthrough.
If your church uses Planning Center Services, you can connect your account here to enable the team import feature in Email Teachers. Click Connect to Planning Center and follow the OAuth flow.
See the Planning Center Integration article for a full step-by-step guide.
